WVUSC Announces New Academy

U6-U9 Academy

WVUSC’s academy soccer focuses primarily on individual skill development. The goal of Academy soccer is to prepare players for our club soccer environment for their later years.

This program is offered twice a year (Spring and Fall) for players aged 5 to 8 years old.  The program involves weekday training session on Mondays and Wednesdays.  You can do both days or just one.  The training methods are designed to help each player build self-esteem while feeling their way into the great sport of soccer.  Practices will focus on technical development and making each individual confident and comfortable with the ball, while being stimulating, dynamic, full of positive encouragement, and fun!

Children that benefit most for this program enjoy soccer, look forward to the practices and have the maturity to stay engaged for the hour long sessions. Players need not be star athletes, but a general excitement about the game and attentiveness at the sessions will ensure that your player gets maximum enjoyment out of the program

We offer trained, professional coaches. We feel you will be pleased with the experience your child will have. The fees are $75 for one day per week or $140 for two days for the 8 week academy.   Your child will also get a t-shirt with your registration at no extra cost.

Our mission at WVUSC Academy will always be to teach the best soccer and promote good values on and off the soccer field.

The program will utilize multiple WVUSC coaches and will be overseen by WVUSC’s Director of Coaching, Graham Peace.
